I make the trip to blackbird everyday, and I cannot recommend this place enough, always something new & delicious to try, a constantly rotating assortment of different coffees and 2 of the nicest, most accommodating people in the business. Thanh and Helene are great baristas and even better people, nothing but the best here! However far you have to go, do yourself a favor and visit Blackbird Espresso

Blackbird Expresso is a successful little hole in the wall experience, serving great coffee and delicious simple food. It's an early riser as the name suggests, their operating hours are between 6.00am till 2.00pm. It's situated in a very handy location, ideal for that "drive up" takeaway morning coffee, which many locals do. Located in popular Martha Street, Camp Hill, it's a well known, and much loved local foodie spot. I can highly recommend the smashed avocado and feta on toast, great portion sizes and beautifully presented. The coffee is very good and the menu offerings hit the right spot, there is something for everyone. If you've got a bit of time on a nice midweek day - make sure you stop for brunch, relax and stay for a while, the old world heritage of Martha Street is definitely worth the experience, and there are other great places on this busy Camp Hill strip, worthy of checking out too.

Visiting Brisbane for the weekend and had coffee and breakfast both mornings. Coffee was great, toasties delicious and banana bread to die for. The owner Thanh was pure joy and was partly the reason for our return on the Sunday (Thanh, the coffee & food).
